SLEEPY BOYS

Jack
Logan
Last night I fed the boys by myself (Josh was in class) and they were both dozing off as they finished their bottles. I just had to snap some pictures!

PLAYING WITH BRITTANY

My friend Brittany came over today to visit (& show me her GORGEOUS engagement ring!) She can't believe how big the boys are getting. It was fun to see her.

PRECIOUS SLEEP

Sleep has been hard to come by in our house the last two weeks. Logan got sick. Then Jack got sick. Then Josh got sick. Then Logan got sick again. And finally I got sick. So today when the boys took a wonderful two hour nap, I had to take some pictures... What I wouldn't give for six hours (IN A ROW) of sleep!

GOOD MORNING SMILE

MOTHER OF TWINS POEM

A meeting convened one day
in Heavens' sacred hall.
The ideal mother must be found
for twins so sweet and small.
She must be patient, first of all,
And kind and calm and wise.
And capable of chasing tears
away from little eyes.
She'd have to put her children first
And be so very smart.
Have dedication and resolve,
A sweet and loving heart.
They all agreed you were the best.
No other mom would do.
Yes, heaven found the perfect one
And sent these twins to you.

~Larry Howland

(I had a request to post a few pregnancy pictures... Here they are. My friend Stacey took them for me. At the time I was 32 weeks pregnant.)

ANOTHER LOOK BACK...

at how very far we've come. Here is Logan in his room in the NICU. He was monitored for maintaining his heat and blood sugar. He was in there for about 18 hours. During that time Josh had to bounce back and forth between helping me with Jack (I still couldn't walk because of the spinal) and caring for Logan in the Nursery.
