Papa, you're funny!

Logan was really cracking up

WHAT DID YOU DO ?!?

This is what I found when I walked into the kitchen to see what Jack & Gustav were up to. Josh said that Jack & Logan kept working on the drawer, and finally they got it out. Then Jack promptly crawled in!

He looks pretty darn proud of himself!
What a cutie!

HOME WITH MY BABIES

I have dreamed of mornings like this since I went back to work last November. I woke up today to the boys "talking" and laughing with each other. I brought my pillow & my teddy bear along with the boys, their binkies & their teddy bears out to the living room and we laughed & snuggled. It was just heaven on earth.

Daddy snapped this one of Logan (mouth full of goldfish) and just look at those blue eyes!

HELPING GRANDMA

Sunday we went to Grandma Carol's house to play with our cousins. Jack found the broom to be more fun than anything else.

As we sat around the living room I realized that Andrea, Julie & I were surrounded by our SONS. Six of them to be exact. Alvin, Ethan, Isaac, Gustav, Logan & Jack. Incredible really, the number of boys the three of us had added to the Cunningham clan.

A WEDDING

Last night one of Josh's classmates at WSU-V got married. We drove along the gorge out to the White Salmon River where she got married in a castle. It was stunning. And a really good excuse to get dressed up, leave the boys at home & have some time together.

August brings our six year wedding anniversary, and I have to say that our life is exactly what I always wanted. Maybe we don't have a lot of money, but we have a lot of love. And we have been blessed beyond belief with our beautiful, healthy sons. I hope to never take for granted what I have.

AUNTIE LOVE

{Roxanne & Logan}

We tried (unsuccessfully) to get a good picture of Roxanne with Jack. Here are our attempts:

Notice her baby bump- she's 22 weeks & due October 28th.
We can't wait to meet him or her!

DRESSER PLAY

Logan

{Jack}
Roxanne told him that if he'd been born a few hundred years ago that this could have been his bed. He was not impressed.

Logan, on the other hand, did not mind.

So cute!

Jack wanted to escape!

(The reason the dresser is in the front yard is that I got a new one- from Ikea!- and we are passing this one along to my parents)

JUNE 2008- A LOOK BACK...

Logan & Jack just 11 days old

Logan- 2 weeks old

Logan- 3 weeks & getting bigger

And Jack at 2 weeks

How amazing the year of growth & milestones we have had. The boys are truly blessed & have been so healthy. Every night I thank God for the gift of my children & their health. I try to never take that for granted. Being home with them the last two weeks has been like Christmas every single day.

THE OREGON ZOO

Jack, Logan, Josh & I went to the zoo this morning.

We had a great time.

We saw the elephants getting their daily exercise.

And we saw one of my favorites, the zebras.

The boys prefer to watch other children look at the animals as opposed to looking at the animals themselves.

And their favorite-favorite part is when we stop for lunch & they get to eat goldfish crackers, pudding & play in the grass!

We've been keeping very busy every morning so far this summer because we are working on going from two naps to one nap. Keeping them busy is essential. So far, so good! They're sleeping about two hours every afternoon, and that is a much needed break for mommy & daddy!
