TRANSITION

Of the two boys, Jack has the best transition from sitting to crawling. He is so careful to ease his hands down to the floor. Logan tends to CRASH! It's so cute to see them so pleased with themselves!!! Just look at that smile!

LOOK WHAT I CAN DO!!!

It has been a big week in the Cunningham household: The boys are not only sitting up, but also pretty much crawling, although not perfectly yet. They have taken three baths together now in their brand new tub seats & Logan's second tooth finally broke through! My little boys are growing up before my eyes, and I am trying to devour every second of it. They give my life meaning.
The above pictures are of Logan, who is quite proud of himself for all these accomplishments. As he well should be!

TWO IN THE TUB

I have forever been waiting to bathe Jack & Logan together. And tonight was the first time. I went with my mom & sister to Babies R Us, bought the new bath seats, filled the tub & eased my excited little bubs into their tub of toys!

Jack

Logan

As I drained the tub, Jack must have sensed all the fun coming to an end & reached out to try & grasp Logan's hands. It was so sweet! I am so happy to have had bathtime with no screaming or crying, no rush to get the next one in the tub before the water turns cold, & way more time to play while I washed the other brother!

ONE LUCKY LADY

My day began with Josh letting me sleep in. Hooray for down pillows & 400 thread count sheets!
Then I went shopping with my sister at a really neat shop called Treats that my school secretary owns. That is where I got this *adorable* purse & wallet.
After that we got ice cream at Ice Cream Renaissance in downtown Vancouver. They have the BEST ice cream, especially the Bitter Sweet Chocolate Love Affair. Delish!

When we got back from our afternoon out & about, we were pleasantly surprised to find a dozen roses for each of us from my amazing husband. Roxanne cried at his sweet gesture & he said he just felt that he should do something for her for Valentine's Day since Blake is out of town. In Kuwait.

We were so excited to each have a dozen roses that I didn't even notice the bag from Friedlanders Jewelers on the table!

I pulled the tissue out of the bag, found a box with an adorable tiny bow and joyfully opened this necklace box to find a Journeys necklace with seven beautiful diamonds sparkling back at me.

I immediately put the necklace on & Josh snapped this picture.

I am the luckiest girl on the planet today.
~
My family loves me. My sons love me. My husband loves me.
And I love him. He makes me laugh, does more for me than I could list here, and thinks I am beautiful each and every day.
Who could ask for anything more?

SNUGGLES

Every morning I get Jack up first, and he won't settle down until he sees Logan. I either hold both boys or put Jack into Logan's crib. Jack will smush his sweet little face into Logan's chest and smile so big! Logan will grab Jack's face & talk to him. Above is a photo of Jack snuggling into Logan's backside. Logan, looking completely unaffected, continued to play with his truck!

MOMMY'S LITTLE MAN

Here's my Jack-Jack. He's such a little bub! He just loves crawling around on his belly. And his chubby thighs make me want to squeal with delight!
In the background you can see "Auntie Lisa" who comes once a week to help with the boys. We adore her!

MOMMY'S SWEETHEART

I love letting the boys crawl around in just their diapers. Logan was "crawling" from the bathroom door to the book in the hallway & I had to take some pictures of him. He's just getting so big!

JUST ME

Been having some anxiety as of late. Not really sure what I'm going to do about that. My doctor appointment isn't until March... real helpful right? I just try to breathe through the attacks, but it's tough at work to find a spare moment to take.
The boys woke up a bunch last night, which is making me nervous that they may be heading into another series of wakeful nights. The lack of sleep is not helping my situation.
They were a lot of fun tonight, though. Squealing, laughing, & scooting all around to play with their toys, which were splayed all about the living room.
I started a diet in January & got real serious about it three weeks ago. I have lost nine pounds already. That's pretty exciting!
Well, I am off to try & catch some sleep before the boys decide to wake up.

8!!!

Eight Months Old
and so much fun!

I can't believe that these bubs have been in our lives for eight months now. On the one hand it seems time has flown by, but I also can't remember life before them. They make me so proud. I love being their mommy & I love watching Josh be their daddy. We are feeling doubly blessed this week for sure!
