saturday snuggles
{Logan & Jack}This afternoon when the boys woke up from naps we snuggled in our room, watching Veggie Tales, while Josh finished up a work project in the living room. The boys loved it. They kept saying "Again, again," so I would play the theme song over & over.
Also noteworthy- today Jack gave me my first "real" kiss. (Meaning he just walked up to me, without being asked or coached, leaned toward my face, pursed his lips & said "muah!")
Mommy's first kiss.

super fun tub time
The boys like to make the frogs hop all around the tub while we sing "Five Little Ducks", only we say "Five Little Frogs".
{Sweet baby kisses}I guess the boys caught "the love" on Valentine's Day like Mommy.

Do these pictures melt your hearts like mine?

kiss kiss
Valentine's day must have worked its way into my heart, as I am quite sure I have never loved my boys as much as I loved them today.
I missed them {ached for them, really} all day at work today. I was near tears many times as I imagined what they may be doing at that very moment with Grandma.
When I got home we gave them their binkies & their bubbas, which made them extra snuggly for me. That's my favorite. They suck their binks; suck, suck, suck & rub their bubs' tags; rub, rub, rub & snuggle Mommy. It melts me.
We played, laughed, chased, read, hugged & kissed all afternoon. Daddy was even home to enjoy it with us. Then we did baths, I cut twenty finger & twenty toe nails, lotioned the boys up and read Kiss Kiss by Margaret Wild. I must have kissed them fifty-seven times each before I turned out the light.
And even now, as they sleep in the other room, I am missing them. Wishing I could still hear their laughter & see their smiling faces running around the living room.
~
Every night I pray that Josh will find a teaching job next fall so I can stay home with our boys. So that I don't have to miss them this much. So that I can see every smile, hear every giggle, dry every tear & kiss every owie.
Pray with me, will you?

sweet dreams
Just had to share these cute pics from bedtime tonight.
Bedtime is my favorite.
The boys are snuggly sweet,
and I get the best hugs & kisses.
Mommy loves you babies!
