I have decided {against my own will} to post my actual weight on here. To motivate me. I started at 182 lbs. last Tuesday. This morning I weighed in at 176lbs. Here's hoping Week 2 is as kind as Week 1!
Woot woot, GO Shelly! What a motivating start!! What are you doing? Maybe you should post that, so other people who are doing the same can get helpful and successful hints and tips from you. You probably know but I started running. It was hell at first, but now that I've been doing it for awhile, it's not hard. The hard part is getting up and GOING to the gym. Anyways, Nick tells me all the time he's noticed a big difference in my body, but more than that he's noticed a lot in my personality. I'm much happier and more energetic. Ok, ok enough babble, I recommend doing some type of cardio 3-days a week for an hour if you can, if not, atleast 30 minutes. Good Job! Keep up the hard work, it's payin' off!!
Great Job! I was thrilled that I lost my baby weight plus some so fast, but now it's creeping back, time to do something about it! George and I started on this website: http://hundredpushups.com/ I could only do 5 pushups on the first test, but at the end of week two I can do 20 in a row!
Yeah for you! I am doing the same thing (but I didn't see as big as results my first week)! I bought the "Eat Clean" book and I'm trying hard to follow the guidelines. It can be trying, but for the most part, it is really fun. I like learning about how to combine food and eat healthy. It is hard to balance all aspects of life -- take it one day at a time. Sounds like you are doing GREAT!

ROCK IT SISTER!
ReplyDeleteWooohooo! Good job Shelly. I am eating healthier food and exercise 3 times a week. I can't wait to see our results! :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, no way can I do an hour workout. Even a half hour is pushing it. With work, the boys & the house, I'm lucky if I just find time to eat healthy!
ReplyDeleteYay Shelly! That's awesome!!
ReplyDeleteYou go girl......
