Yesterday:
Jack was diagnosed with an ear infection,
I missed work {again},
but Logan was feeling fine.

Thankfully yesterday afternoon there was...
TWO too MUCH giggling,
TWO too MUCH playing,
and TWO too MUCH feeling better.
TWO too MUCH giggling,
TWO too MUCH playing,
and TWO too MUCH feeling better.
But I did mention in the beginning that we walk when it's all just
TWO too MUCH...
Right?
I did remember to mention that?!?
Cause that's the most important thing to remember.
That's the whole reason for this post.
{Well, that and the adorable kids}

I was exhausted,
they wanted to run around...
Getting them in the car was like running a marathon.
So... once I got them in the car
WE LEFT.
Only... I hadn't {exactly} finished loading the car.
Yep.
Oh no.
YES.
I LEFT MY DOUBLE STROLLER ON THE SIDEWALK.
Where you see it located in the last picture
is where it stayed.
ALL NIGHT.
ALL MORNING.
Until I went to Costco this morning, and opened the trunk to put my box of 500 diapers in the back and saw:
NOTHING.
That feeling in the pit of my stomach when I remembered our walk, TWO too fussy kids, a TWO tired Mommy...
And NO stroller in the car.
~
It's lost & gone forever.

Ohhhhh noooooooo, I could cry for you! I am sooo sorry! Start hunting on Craigs List? :(
ReplyDeleteOH NO!!!!!! that's awful! so sorry :(
ReplyDeletei'd like to think that no one took it with the intentions of keeping it.
We have one for you!!! It is used, but it is free! It's a blue duoglider. Scott is bringing it to work tomorrow for you. :O)
ReplyDeleteWell at least you didn't forget the boys. :)
ReplyDeleteBlake and I SAW IT! Sooo crazy. We went on a walk with Ferris on the waterfront yesterday at 4 - beautiful by the way. On our way back Blake said, "Hey Rox want a free stroller?" I said, "Oh that looks like Shelly's."
ReplyDeleteLittle did we know you LEFT IT THERE! I wish I would've known!
So sorry!!
Well, we have a Combi stroller that we love- they make doubles... ;)
WOW!!! I'm so sorry to hear this! First you had the crib recall, now this. It will take awhile, but I'm sure someday you will have a good laugh about it.
ReplyDeleteOh noooo....I would start looking on Craigs list!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry Shelly. I thought that we could give you our stroller. We never use our stroller.
ReplyDeleteDUH you have two, not one. That's not helpful!! :D How silly of me. I hope you'll find a double stroller for a good deal. Good luck Shelly. *hugs*
I just happened upon your blog and saw this story. If it makes you feel better, I only have one child and I backed over my folded stroller because my son was crying and I forgot to go back around and put the stroller in. Sometimes our mommy brains just can't process everything! Glad you got a new one:)
