Safari Adventure -Day Two

Day Two and we are ready to be amazed!

{Logan}
The boys loved all the animals in the petting zoo.

{Jack}
We saw a lot of animals up close up.

We also got to play at a playground they have at the Safari.

You can see how red the boys' cheeks were. It was well into the eighties there in Winston, Oregon.  We haven't really seen temps higher than seventy where we live, so we were sweating!

After seeing the petting zoo & playing at the park, we headed for our drive through the animal safari.

The boys loved driving through, seeing the animals and being carseat free for a bit.

My favorite part of the drive was the bears.  I think that's true for Josh and Logan & Jack as well.  The bears were fed "popsicles" (berries frozen in milk) by a Wildlife worker just as we arrived.  They all came out to eat their cool treats and we were able to see them up super close.  They are beautiful animals, and Josh & I agreed we would love to pet their fur- it looks so soft!

Then we got to go on a Giraffe Feed.
It was so magical to see it through Logan & Jack's eyes!

The safari was totally worth the drive, and we have so many great memories from our trip!
