sucked in

Try as I might to maintain some sort of schedule or regularity in my blogging, or other hobbies, I have been sucked in.  Sucked into my life as a stay-at-home-mom.  Completely sucked in.  Each day is a complete blur of boring but necessary chores & repeat routines.

Wake up
Switch laundry
Feed children
Dress children
Wash dishes

Switch laundry
Clean playroom
Feed children
Wash children
Nap time
Wash dishes
Switch laundry

Clean playroom
Feed children
Bathe children
Read to children
Bedtime
Wash dishes
Switch laundry

Wake up & do it all over again

So when I am absent on the blog, it is simply because the daily stuff in my ordinary life has little to nothing exciting to write about.  That, and I am so busy washing dishes & switching laundry, that by the time I'm done, I just want to go lay down a while.

I try to spice things up once in a while.  Like, say, making the Flubber my sister-in-law sent for the boys.  Or taking them outside to play in the snow.  And while these activities do create something new for me to blog about, they also require even more work than the original schedule, and therefore even less time to blog about them.

I promise hope to get better.  Maybe.  Meanwhile, I am going to go lay down.
