Fun at Nanny's

My kids love my mom's house. 

LOVE

The like to visit the dogs,

color her driveway with chalk, 

walk to the park...

They like to find silly treasures (like old curtain rods) in her garage,

and use them like weapons because... well... they are little boys and everything turns into weapons!

They love the fun toys she has,

like this tube from when they were little.

And mostly they love her.

Her attention, her affection, her laughter at their antics.

I love to take my kids there because there's grass, 

a front and backyard, 

and I know I can always catch my breath there.

Plus, no one loves yours kids like your mom does.

We also enjoy taking her dogs on walks.

Even if its just around the block.

And after a busy day playing and getting dirty, all three boys fit in her oversized tub.

She has tons of super cool toys from when Uncle Dallas was little,

and she lets the boys splash to their little hearts content.

I honestly think that Nanny enjoys the bath as much as the boys,

and these guys can feel the love.

Wyatt says he loves Nanny because she talks on the phone to him.

Logan says he loves Nanny because she lets him eat sweets with her.

Jack says he loves Nanny because she always listens to what he wants to do and does it with him.

I love that even though she's known hundreds of babies over her lifetime, she delights in every detail of my children as though they were the only she's ever known.
