I ended up skipping thirty of my small things, 14 of which were books I didn't get around to reading. I don't feel too bad about that since I was still reading all year, just  not those particular books.  I'm sure I'll get around to them eventually!

We might still have a post-dinner pajama walk, a trampoline sleepover and write poems about each of my kids, and have Josh's Uncle Paul & Aunt Lynne over, which would cross off 9 more.  The others I failed to accomplish-- 3 Pinterest meals, working out for a month, learning to coupon, meditating everyday for a week, cleaning our kitchen cabinets, & purchasing wool balls will just be moved to next years 100 Small Things List.

What I loved about the list was that any day I was feeling a bit down or unproductive, I could take a look at the list and find something to cross off it.  Doing so instantly made me feel better about the day.

My next 100 Small Things List is in the works.  I will share it just as soon as I get it done!
I could use some inspiration, though. What are some small (or big) things you are hoping to accomplish this school year?

  2. Wow you did a lot! I am so bad about goal setting. This year I would like to wean Luke down to only nursing to sleep, and make and stick to a cleaning schedule.

  4. I love your blog! You are very reflective and honest. I especially love that you share your anxiety and fears too not just all the good. My daughter too has epilepsy, so your Sending Logan off to school each day makes me proud of you. Thank you for sharing a bit of your life.

  5. 70 is AMAZING! So happy you adopted this fun yearly game with me - if you get past the idea that you have to complete it ALL, it's so great for a mama's mental health, don't you think?
