WE'RE OUTTA HERE

Monday morning the boys woke up at 6am instead of 7am, so they were super sleepy while I was packing up our things. They just laid on the King size bed, being adorable.
Then it was off to the beach.

BABIES' FIRST SWIM

Jack

The boys were ready to go!

{We went swimming in the hotel pool for a few minutes with the boys. There are no pictures cause there are two babies & only two of us.The water in the pool was colder than we had anticipated so it was a short visit. But afterward they got to swim around in the bathtub.}

SHILO INNS & SUITES

The boys were supposed to be napping on Sunday when they both stood up on the same sides of their separate playpens. (The night before, they had slept peacefully without discovering just how close their brother was.) They were so excited to have found each other. They instantly grapped hands and reached for each others' faces.

{We absolutely loved the hotel. It exceeded my expectations. We had a kitchenette, seating area & large bathtub. The boys were able to crawl all around. And Josh & I were able to take the couch & flip it around so the boys could sleep through our late night TV watching! Hooray for Dirty Jobs on Discovery!}

THE CEMETERY IN MOSES LAKE

We took the boys to the cemetery where Josh's grandparents (his dad's mother & father) are buried along with his sister.

Jack & Logan with their great grandparents. Donna died of heart disease and Jay died years after a series of strokes.

Logan & Jack with Margaret.

Josh's little sister died of SIDS in infancy. Josh is fifth in birth order and she was sixth. Her death influenced my obsession with SIDS research & prevention as there are no clear studies on whether or not SIDS is genetic.

Logan, Mommy & Jack on vacation!

{Josh & many of his siblings were born in Moses Lake. They have remained close with their cousins who still live there. So for spring break we headed up. It's a long, long drive (about 5 & a half hours), but the Lord blessed us with happy travelers. The boys slept most of the drive and were entertained by the toys I had stashed away weeks prior. We stopped only twice- to feed the bubs breakfast & lunch- and made it in 7 hours! It was worth the drive to spend so much time with the family}

OBAMA LOVE

BATH TIME AT NANNY'S HOUSE

After Roxanne's birthday party we ate some cake & gave the boys a bath in mom's big bath tub. The boys' cousin Isaiah threw on his swim trunks & climbed in to hold them in his lap while my mom scrubbed them. It was so fun to see Isaiah with them. They LOVE him!

WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS...

Feed them to your small children.

Logan seemed to know better than to open his mouth. His picture is at the bottom & he refused to eat any. Jack, on the other hand, kept on eating the slices, despite the faces he made indicating he was not a big fan!!!

AUNTIE ROXANNE TURNS 22!!!

The boys were "helping" Nanny in the kitchen while she prepared for Roxanne's birthday dinner.

Logan planned to unload the dishwasher for her, but she closed it!

Yum- cake!

Uncle Dallas was there & he got a new haircut!

Presents!

The oh-so-cute apron that I got her (*sort of) and that will look
absolutely adorable over her BABY BUMP when it comes.

Yup! She's pregnant!
Hence, these great pants from Nordstrom's!

Crazy night shot with my camera!

Hmmm... what to wish for?

I think she was wishing for a healthy pregnancy, but what do I know? She is 10 weeks and due October 28th, and we all have fingers crossed for a GIRL! But we'll be overjoyed either way. Daddy Blake (her Marine hubby) is in Iraq, but will be home in August. The boys can't wait for Cousin Blasty to arrive!!!

HUNGRY FOR POSTINGS???

Are these the faces you have been missing?
So desperate to see?
Longing to squish?

Well, here they are and here comes the BLOGGING!!!
