About Us

Hi and welcome to my blog!  
I'm Shelly
I'm a stay-at-home mom of four.

My husband Josh 
is an elementary school teacher.

We are high school sweethearts.
Met in 2000, married in 2003.

We have identical twin sons,

Jack & Logan
They are seventh graders,

 doing full time remote learning at home with me.

They are dichorionic, diamniotic monozygotic mirror twins.

Interestingly, they are also colorblind.

Our third son,
Wyatt
is in fourth grade & super brilliant.

He is also doing full time remote learning at home with me,

and loves RC cars, Legos and our pets.

After our third son was born we moved to a village in rural 
Alaska
My husband taught third/fourth & fifth grade there.
We lived there for five years.

I miscarried twice while in Alaska.
Then came our sweet rainbow baby
Carly May

Just after Carly was born in 2016,

 we moved to Central Washington
where Josh got a job & we bought our first house.

We are happily settling into our life here, in our new house,
feeling grateful for this chapter,

and living closer to both sides of our family.
