CRAPPY ANNIVERSARY, BABY

Last night was rough. ROUGH. The boys were up from 10-midnight, taking turns screaming.

Then they woke up at SIX this morning. Lordy, lordy. I was so tired.

{Jack}
Josh got up & let me go back to bed for a little while, but we were both still really tired. The boys were apparently still tired as well. They were SUPER CRABBY this morning. It was all we could do to keep them awake until lunch time. We decided that we had better bag our anniversary plans (lunch at Red Lobster & an afternoon spent at the Portland Art Museum) & go another day. We didn't want to leave someone else with our little monsters all afternoon.

So we headed to Marrion Elementary School (they have a great toddler park) and spent the afternoon playing with our kiddos.

{Jack}
It was no romantic afternoon off, but that, my friends, is parenting life!
