5 weeks postpartum

I am 5 weeks postpartum.  Things are pretty much all healed up and I am feeling great. I can lift up the twins, I can load the car seat in the car, and I can heft the stroller out of the Pilot.  It's a wonderful thing to have my strength back.

It finally feels "normal" to have this little guy in my life. I am enjoying this stage where all he wants to do is cuddle & be fed. It's such a tender time, and goes all too quickly.

We introduced a new kind of binky this week as the other kind would not stay in his mouth.  These new ones seem to be working much better, as he is a happy camper. 

My favorite time with Wyatt is bath time. I love to hold him, suspended in the water, like my little baby lily pad. His whole body relaxes and he's so squishy!

After bath time is my second favorite- I so enjoy lotioning him, combing his hair & getting him into his cozy jammies.  After all that, he usually eats and as he falls asleep at my chest, he seems so content. Clean, cozy & fed.

He's our little buddy, that's for sure.
