Last Friday we set out for Culver, Oregon.
It's about a three hour drive from where we live.
We had all three boys in a row.
Jack sat behind Josh.
Jack sat behind Josh.
Logan sat behind me.
And Wyatt was squeezed in between his brothers.
Josh set up the DVD players for the twins to enjoy.

While we just visited & enjoyed each others' company.
On the drive we heard our favorite song.
On the drive we heard our favorite song.
I think of it as "our song."
It's "Love Like Crazy"
by Lee Brice
I adore that song. I have to say I teared up when it came on.
And every time Josh would reach over to hold my hand,
I would choke up.
I am going to miss this.

The boys were okay for the drive. There was some grouchies, but they didn't nap and lunch was super late, so we forgave them. {wink}
We made it to the KOA shortly after my mom & sister.
Josh set up camp while I chased the kids.
The KOA was beautiful. The land around us was breath taking.
The kids adored the park.
And enjoyed getting the wiggles out after such a long drive.
Nanny (& everyone) was so helpful
in keeping an eye on the kids with us.
Logan cracked me up repeatedly throughout the trip.
First he took off across the street and when I stopped him to ask what he was doing, he informed me that he was going to the bathroom all by himself. "I need some privacy," he said.
I had to bite my tongue to keep from cracking up!

He also has a newfound fascination/love for airplanes.
This new adoration came after he found out Josh will be riding in one on his way to Alaska.
Everyday he asks "Are you going to Alaska yet, Daddy?" This also makes me choke up.
I found at the park that the boys had enough space to really play separately from each other, and make friends with other kids. Logan was willing to share his toys with other children, and even had conversations, which I found adorable. He told one boy he had gotten his shovel at the beach, at Grandma Woo Woo's, but that the boy couldn't go there because it's "way too far away."
And they played oh-so-well.
Jack was determined to make this thing work.
And he did.
He also surprised me by being willing to try the tire swing.
I also got to see a very protective side of Jack during this trip. He was overly worried about both Ferris and Logan's safety with the road in front of our campsites. As well as the campfire.
He was such a worrier. Constantly checking on them.
He's going to be an awesome big brother for Wyatt.

After watching some big kids on the monkey bars, the boys were sure they should give it a go. Lucky for me, they couldn't reach!
A big part of camping for Logan was raiding my parents' food bin & coolers.
Hello, Cheetoh's!!!!
Papa & Wyatt
{Mommy & Wyatt}
Wyatt was starting to wake up in his bouncer and when I found Logan leaned in over him, I asked what he was doing. "I just poked him back to sleep, mom," he told me.
Where does he come up with this stuff?
I love it.

Oh, and how I love this little one.
He was the epitome of the perfect camper.
Happy to just be held & loved.
Sleeping through the night, except for quick feedings.
Such a good little boy.
The twins were anxious all afternoon to get into the pool.
Once Daddy & Papa got the campsites all set up, we were finally able to jump in.
Papa & Logan; Jack & Josh, Roxanne & Ferris
Jack & Josh
At first both boys were nervous to be in the pool.
But with enough time & encouragement, they were both jumping in.
And jumping in. And jumping in!
Most of the gang in the pool.
(I was on the deck feeding Wyatt & taking photographs.)
Blake on the big basketball.
Trying to keep his balance.
And down he goes!
Jack with Nanny in Ferris' little float.
After our swimming adventures, the "guys" decided to play some horseshoe.
It was so nice to see them spend time together.
The whole camping trip, we were all talking, laughing & joking together.
It was just magical.
We headed over after dinner to watch the guys play horseshoe.
Here Wyatt basks in the last of the sunlight.
And the little "guys" played some more at the park.
This time Logan tried his hand at the tire swing.
Watching him on the swing, it hit me.
He's a big kid.
It really does go fast.
It goes too fast.
It goes too fast.
Speaking of fast,
Roxanne is already seven months pregnant!
Here she is swinging with Ferris.

And Nanny was there, of course, helping me keep an eye on my sweeties.Logan looooves his Nanny.
So sweet!
After playing at the park & watching the guys play horseshoe, we decided to go see the horses that bordered the KOA's land.
(Don't these pictures look fake?)
We brought some carrots to feed them.
They were grateful.
Roxanne & Ferris joined in.
Logan was willing to feed them,
but Jack was too nervous to get close.
Even though I offered to hold him.
Feeding them was the coolest thing.
And this blond horse was just beautiful.
She was stunning.
Nanny lifted Logan up cause he wanted to pet her.
He was disappointed that we couldn't coax the "little horse" in the far corner of the grass to come over.
Blondie was running the show.
I was just like a kid. I was so excited to feed them & see them up so close.
They are such graceful creatures.
Soon the sun was setting.
And we got to take this in as we lay the kids down for bed.
Then we had campfire.
Sharing marshmallows, sharing stories and sharing laughter.
It was awesome!!!
{more to come...}
