Camping- Day Two

Saturday morning started with all three of my little boys joining me on my air mattress, snuggling in my warm bed, and making me feel incredibly grateful.

Then we got up & had some delicious cocoa.

With marshmallows, too!

After a morning of playing at the park & naps in the tent,
we headed to the Crooked River Day Use area, a few miles away.
Josh got in the water right away with the twins.

And I sat on the shore, feeding little Wyatt
& capturing more pictures with the camera.

Ferris played on shore with me.

He is just too adorable!

As is little Wyatt.

I love how squishy & sweet he is after I feed him.
Like he's punch drunk off breastmilk.

Ooh, how I love that squishy boy!

While I enjoyed some sweet Wyatt,
my mom pushed the twins around on her air mattress.

Logan found a big stick that he used as an oar.
It was so cute!

Roxanne played with Ferris.

And I snapped this picture of her adorable pregnant belly
with her adorable baby boy.

Their little family rowed out in the boat my dad brought.
Ferris was loving his piggies in the water!

Logan spent some time throwing rocks in the water.
I love how Josh captured the rocks mid-air in this one.

Once Wyatt was happy, I passed him off to his daddy,
and joined Jack & Logan in the water.
We took off for a boat ride, which the three of us so enjoyed!

Roxanne, lounging about,
soaking up some rays

At one point I looked down to where Logan was playing
to see this.

He wanted to wear the flippers like Daddy & Isaiah, he told me.
I was cracking up!

And here is my littlest one.
I love his baby tank top!
Oh sweet boy, how we adore you!

Jack, despite running a fever in the morning, had himself a great time.

Playing in the sand & in the water.

Everyone at our "spot" on the lake.

After our fun in the sun, it was time for dinner back at camp.
But first we had to do the dishes.

The twins "helped" my mom with this task.
(And were SOAKED after their chore!)

Soon they had showers with Daddy & came back to camp ready for bed
in their cozy jammies.

And Isaiah read some Little Critter books, complete with silly voices,
that Logan loved!

Wyatt slept through campfire...
As did his brothers.
And when I went to go to bed myself,
this is what I found:
My sweet boys all snuggled up together.
(*notice they are sleeping "mirrored"- each with one arm up)
Melted my very mommy heart!

{more to come...}
