We spent the afternoon Friday at Aunt Andrea's house since she has AC. The boys all took turns pushing each other & taking rides in Gustav's walker.

The four of us (Andrea, Taylor, Josh & I) feel really blessed to have had our boys so close together. They love to play with each other & us grown ups enjoy each others' company. Plus we live next door-- It's perfect!

I came in the room & found the boys sitting like this, snuggling each other. They love each other so much & I feel incredibly blessed to be able to witness it everyday.

So my friend Jessica came over this week. It was great to see her, and her beautiful son. (He has the most gorgeous brown eyes!) We sat around chatting about mothering, parenthood, marriage & babies. The boys were SO sweet to Landon. They hugged him, touched him & seemed generally interested in him & his baby-ness. So cute!

My bestest friends from work, Lisa D & Scott, met Josh & I at the zoo. We saw the animals, caught up & enjoyed each others' kids. Scott's boys are getting so big! And Sydney asked to hold my hand- how sweet is that?!?

I am so thankful for my friends at work. You know you like your coworkers when you get together with them during your time off! :)

OIL SPILL

UH-OH

The boys love to play in the pantry. Most days this produces a minor mess, some paper towel rolls on the floor, or a box of rice. Today, however, was a different story. I went to put our beach bag away and when I came back, I noticed the boys had shiny legs. Then I saw the bottle of vegetable oil.
From what I can tell, it fell from its perch on the shelf, busted the lid & poured swiftly onto the tile floor in the laundry room. Instead of scolding them or cleaning up, I grabbed the digital camera & the video recorder.

I am not sure what this says about my parenting, but I do know that I am hoping to win big from America's Funniest Home Videos. The video I got of Jack slipping & sliding in the oil mess is hilarious! Like, rolling on the floor funny.
