My Jack

The boys loved piggies in the sand!

And I just love their piggies!

Not sure why Jack does this, but he did it consistently, each time we were at the beach! Some kind of baby beach yoga, perhaps?

Logan loved how his voice echoed in the bucket. Maybe he thought he would find another little boy at the bottom?

{Logan}
Loving the beach, mom!

READY "2" GO

Tuesday (the 7th) we woke up before the boys did, finished packing & got ourselves ready. Then we woke them up, fed them breakfast & Josh finished loading the car.

They must have known something was up because they WOULD NOT leave their post at the front door. (Notice Logan's left leg lifted in an attempt to climb out)

Josh finally (somehow, magically) loaded ALL the items we would need for the boys for almost TWO weeks at the beach into the car, and we were ready 2 go!

Jack was fairly certain he was going to be left behind.

We managed to fit both kids in the car as well, and we were off! 2 hours 2 go- Rockaway here we come!!!

BBQ for the 4th

{Jack & Logan}

After swimming at Aunt Christine's we went across the street to Aunt Lisa's for a BBQ. Here the boys are looking at each other through the sliding glass door. I always wonder what they must be thinking when they see each other like this.

Around 8pm we started setting off fireworks. Both our boys zonked out. Lucky for them (and us!) Uncle Thomas has a bunch of ear phones to drown out the noise. Logan slept on my lap; Jack on Josh's. It was a sweet way to end a wonderful day, with our boys asleep in our arms.

HOT FUN IN THE SUMMER TIME

Mariah (with Jack) & Rebecca (with Logan) are the most incredible helpers when we all get together. They love the boys, they entertain them & they will do anything I need them to do. Sweet, sweet girls-- I love 'em & so do my boys!

{Jack & Mommy}
After our parade & then a nap at home, we brought the boys over to Aunt Christine's house to play in her HUGE slip'n'slide. The boys loved it!

4th of July Parade

{Logan & Jack}
Grandma Carol's neighborhood has a yearly parade to celebrate Independence Day. This was the boys' first run. Carol decorated their stroller & the boys promptly fell asleep while en route. So Aunt Laura pushed the stroller while Carol & I each carried a sleepy bub.

Look at Logan's sweet eyes in this one (he's in back)
