The mailman killed nap time today. Apparently the boys had been asleep for fifteen minutes when the doorbell rang. They never got back to sleep. So this afternoon was rough. I got home and by about 4:30, things were getting ugly. Josh & I didn't sleep last night (the boys were up from 2am to 4am), I had to work today and Josh had to study for finals, plus I am just generally GROUCHY lately, ready for work to be done. So when I saw the way the evening was beginning, I was starting to freak out. Luckily for all four of us, Josh suggested we get out of the house.
So we spent the afternoon/evening at a local park, just playing with the babies.
They were different boys. Happy, exploring, laughing & generally perfect! While at the park we put the boys in the kiddy swing for the first time.
And they loved it!{Jack & Logan} (Aren't their outfits great? Thanks, Aunt Julie!) Logan, loving it!
Jack facing me. Joyful bubs= Happy parents
Thank goodness for daddy & his great idea! We survived the evening, made it to bath time, fed the boys, put them to bed & then Auntie Roxanne came to sit with them while the two of us got to go out for dessert. We enjoyed some much needed mommy/daddy respite!

They look SUPER identical in picture #5, I mean, I know they ARE identical, but sometimes I actually feel like I'm seeing double.
And yes, Julie those outfits are ADORABLE!
