I'm not sure what I thought having two toddlers was going to be like... but I have to say that it has not met my expectations. But trust me, that's a good thing.
I guess I thought that after their second birthday, they would morph into someone else's children.
I was in some kind of denial about the fact that my children were turning two.
But in fact they are still my silly, adorable, funny, loving boys.
They still talk to me,
love me,
laugh with me,
and want hugs from me.
They are still (and will always be) my babies.
They just look and act like big boys a little more now than they used to. And I'm okay with that. I'm getting used to that. Heck, there are even some good great things about their getting older.
They can tell me what they want, where they hurt and when they need hugs. They can clean up their toys, find their own binkies, feed themselves completely, and take off their own coats & shoes.

I am happy to discover that it's not bad at all. They are still my sweethearts, who love to snuggle, read books in my lap and be chased until they are out of breath from giggling.

If Logan didn't have his bubba, I would've thought the first two pictures were of Jack. Bad Nanny...
Mom, the first two pictures are of Jack. He's just lying on the silky green patch of the quilt you made him! You were right!
I had to do a double-take of the first pictures, too! Hmm they're even more identical upside down and sideways! Haha
