Today Josh and I made one of what will be a few runs to Wal-mart to stock up on items we will need in Alaska. It's so hard to know how much of certain things I will need from now until May. I'd like to not have to buy a lot of things while we're there since everything costs so much.
I packed it all up this afternoon and it's ready to be shipped. We leave in 12 days. The time slipping right past and I am just praying I get everything done. Including both my to-do list and seeing friends & family one last time.

Holy cow! That's a lot of pressure to try and already have everything you could possibly need there when you arrive. Good luck, it's crazy that in less than two weeks you'll be in Alaska!
PS Do you have batteries? (For kids' toys, flashlights, ipod dock, etc...) What about screws/nails to hang pictures?
We're so excited to follow your journey. It'll be sad for Alice to really make the concrete discovery when she arrives at Preschool after the break and finds that Logan and Jack really ARE gone. :( I just know this will be an amazing adventure for you guys!
We'll be checking in, and hopefully will get a letter in the mail for you guys sometime soon!
Have an amazing time, enjoy the process and the journey as much as you possibly can and keep sharing!
