Care Packages {Take Four}

We got a slew of packages last Wednesday, and two more on Monday.
Here it is Wednesday again, and this afternoon we will head to the post office for more...
so I figured I better get this out there!
Thank you!

 Your package rocked! We are looking forward to using the spring decorations for some fun projects, and the boys {adored} the tiny boxes of cereal!

Rachel
 Thank you so much for the Lightening McQueen stuff for the boys- that has equaled hours of morning fun during Wyatt's naps. Also, thanks for the Girl Scout cookies! Yum!

Carissa
Thank you for the thoughtful care package. You are definitely a mom, sending me so many essentials!  I especially love the Pantene- awesome!- and the lotion- it sits by the kitchen sink for post-washing moisturizing.
We already ate the ravioli, and those granola bars are my favorite!  The baby food was also welcome- Wyatt loves to eat his "big kid" food.

Grandma Pansy
The boys wearing Josh's hats over their eyes- so silly!
My grandma sent me a box of groceries, basically, and I was pretty excited for Josh to make enchiladas with the canned chicken she sent from Costco. They were delicious!

Julie
 Aunt Julie sent us a St. Patrick's Day themed box.  Complete with Lucky Charms, adorable hand made decorations (photos to follow soon) mint cookies, plates, window decals, candy coins, green jello & more.  We are counting down the days!

Ethan
 Our nephew Ethan sent his own box for the twins.  They really enjoyed opening this one, knowing it was from their favorite guy!

 Can you just feel the anticipation?

 There was all kinds of awesome stuff inside for them.  Balls, candy, pens, Police cars, Froot Loops, glow sticks & more.  Jack gave Josh an infomercial on the pen: "See, dad? I put it on and," letting go of the pen, "it stays on my neck... all by itself!" We were cracking up!

 I was glad Ethan sent Police cars in particular because they have taken to running around the house shooting "bad guys" and for a while they would pretend the bad guys were police. I had to tell them police help us, and can save us when we need them.  So now when they play with the police cars, they always have them catching the bad guys.

 Logan super loved all the chocolate- he is my son- and I think he ate almost all of the football candies that first day!

 Ethan also included these hats, that he made (or maybe his brother Alvin made?) for the boys! Jack would NOT take his off all evening. He loves it!  Ethan, it was so thoughtful of you to send the boys a box. They loved it! They are so lucky to have you for their older cousin. To look up to & think is cool!

Carol & Carl

 Carol & Carl sent what I am pretty sure is the last box of our belongings from Vancouver.  It had hangers and whatnot from around their house that they discovered after we left.

 They filled the rest of the box with groceries & other goodies. Cocoa Puffs, Nutella, Graham crackers, chips, toys, pickles, popcorn, and my magazines (!!!) as well.

 That box was a real hit with the boys as it had some of their toys nestled in among the other items.  Thank you Grandma & Papa!

Kris & Ang
 My cousin & her wife Ang sent us a care package as well.

 Inside was a plethora of helpful items- hot cocoa, mashed potatoes, cuticle salve, and my personal favorite- Mary Kay lip mask & chapstick.  I cannot wait to use it!

 The boys were pretty happy with the ring pops, toys & metal slinkies.

We played with the slinkies on the stairs straightaway. It took me back to my grandma Pansy's basement, getting the slinky set up just right so it would make it all the way down to the bottom. Such fun! Thanks, girls!

We feel so lucky to have so many people at home in Washington and across the country who care enough to take the time to send a care package.  Every item may not be mentioned here on the blog, but I can guarantee every single item gets used.

Our pantry is full of fun, thoughtful snacks for our boys because of you.
Wyatt's cupboard is filled to the brim with Puff's & baby cereal because of you.
Once a week, I feel like I've just returned from a really fun shopping trip because of you.
We are blessed by you.  All of you.

Those praying & those mailing;
Those sending well wishes & those sending tuna;
Those kept anonymous and those writing;
All of you bless us.
Thank you.

SO MUCH FUN!
Your big boys love cereal as much as I do! Tiny boxes are the best! Remember we'd get them for camping?!
Second of all, Logan and Jack are boys. Like, BOYS. They're so tall and big and they're features are developed, not chubby toddlers... boys! I want to hug and kiss them!
And Josh is so thin!! The picture of him at the top of the stairs... OH MY GOSH!
I love you guys and I enjoy seeing how creative and thoughtful everyone is. We're all rooting for you!
(P.S. Ethan you ROCK and Jack and Logan are SOOOO lucky to have you for a cousin! And Julie G, you are raising such a thoughtful boy, I adore him!)
