proud

I love when I have moments with my boys where they make me proud. I enjoy seeing the people they could become, and hope to nurture the good within them.

Logan told me today that he thought we should take old toys they don't play with anymore to give to other kids who don't have very many toys. Seriously. He said that. My little mama heart swelled.

And this afternoon, while Logan took a nap after having a humongous meltdown over cleaning up the playroom by himself as a consequence, Jack asked me if we could clean it up for him so that he would be happy when he woke up. (We did.)

I also love hearing them pray.  Logan often prays for God to keep Wyatt safe while he's sleeping.  I love that he takes his responsibility as a big brother so seriously.  He also regularly thanks God for our cozy, warm house and his family.

Jack always tells us to be sure we close our eyes when he prays.  And he is often thankful for his cozy sheets and his family.  He will also pray for Wyatt, or that we will have a good day when we've had a bad one.

These boys are so wonderful.
And they make me so proud!
