Do you ever look at a picture or series of pictures and have it evoke emotions in you?
These pictures do that for me.
We had been in town for a while this summer, and needed to take a break from all the stimulation.
Nothing can prepare you for the overwhelming-ness of everything that is city life
after living six months in a rural village.
The stores, the traffic, the people...
Television, radio, commercials...
So we took off and spent an afternoon at a local park, just us and the boys.
We were away from the noise, the bustle. Unplugged for a little while.
We played in the grass, the five of us, chasing and screaming, tickling and laughing, hugging and kissing.
It was just what we needed.
It was wonderful.

What cute pictures. I almost felt warm thinking about summer! ...Logan and Jack eating together and talking, that's a sweet, candid picture.
I know what you mean about going back to a feeling when you see pictures, I find that especially true if I wasn't the one who took the picture. Especially if I've never seen it before. There's one of Milo that was on Grandpa Jerry's camera and it made me oooh and aaahhh and remember exactly what newborn Milo smelled like, felt like and looked like. Good thing we take a lot of pictures! :)
