Sunday I woke up completely overwhelmed. Josh had been gone moose hunting Saturday, so it was just me and the boys, and I didn't get anything done. Thankfully Josh took pity on his poor wife and stuck around all day yesterday, even though he had work to do in his classroom, and helped me catch up around here.
He did the dishes and baked bread for the week. I made tortillas and cleaned the downstairs while he took the kids outside to play and did bath & bedtime.
I also made muffins for the kids,
and fed them apple slices from the apples our sweet neighbor Cyndy brought us from Mountain Village.
I did load after load, after ever-living load of laundry.
Wash, dry, fold, repeat.
Meanwhile the boys played, making Lego roller coasters and firetrucks. I went to bed feeling really grateful for this beautiful family we have. Grateful for those fun boys and my always helpful, sweet husband.
Then, as a bonus, I woke up this morning (naturally!) at 5:15, so I got up and worked out and enjoyed a little "me" time before my week began. It was a great way to start the day.

I'm glad you a little "me time" on Monday morning. I also love that you bake bread. I know you have to and because it's so easy to buy here I won't. But it's one of those things I always picture doing in that idyllic world in my head. One with no laundry.
