Laundry.
Dishes.
Folding.
Cleaning.
Warm washcloths for dirty faces,
Steamy baths for filthy bodies.
Clipped nails, combed hair,
brushed teeth & fresh pajamas.
It's sleepless nights, bleary eyed in the rocking chair,
singing incessantly lullabies that are known by heart.
It's the ability to locate a lovey in complete darkness.
It's bites of food given off her plate,
and dinners made when she would rather be doing anything else.
Wiping up the pee around the toilet,
wiping bottoms,
wiping faucets,
wiping mirrors.
Wiping, wiping, wiping, wiping.
It's love buried by exhaustion.
It's devotion covered in fingerprints.
"The joy in motherhood comes in moments. There will be hard times and frustrating times. But amid the challenges there are shining moments of joy and satisfaction."
Elder M. Russell Ballard
I am so grateful that this is my job.
That this is my life.
For motherhood is...
my everything.

You're such a beautiful mom, inside and out. The picture of you holding Wyatt in the baby wrap gives me total baby fever! And the twins in the last picture, bleached blond and in their matching jammies... I feel like they're still that size.
